Privacy Policy
How SoldByEkin collects, uses and protects your information, and the choices you have. Last updated October 29, 2026.
Who this policy is from
SoldByEkin is the website of Mucahit “Muca” Ekin, a Florida licensed real estate advisor (license SL3651128) brokered by LPT Realty. In this policy, “Ekin” means Muca Ekin and this website.
What is collected
When you browse without an account: your saved homes, language and search choices stay in your own browser. Ekin’s hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security.
When you create an account: your first and last name, email address, phone number, password (stored only in encrypted form by Supabase), and the page or campaign you came from.
While you’re signed in: your saved homes and searches, Mila Match answers and likes, your AI Search and Mila conversations, your preferences, and the homes you view and when you visit.
When you fill out a form on this website (a tour request, a question about a home, a message, a home value request or an account): your name, email address and phone number, what you write, the home and times you choose, and the page you sent it from. If you check the SMS box, a record of your consent is kept too: when you gave it, on which page and form, the exact wording you agreed to, and your IP address and browser.
How it is used
To run your account, keep your saved homes and searches on all your devices, answer your questions and tour requests, and help with your home search as your real estate advisor. Ekin can see the homes you view, save and like while you’re signed in, so Ekin can suggest homes and follow up. To stop this, email Ekin to delete your account.
What you send through a form is used to answer you by email or phone about the homes and services you asked about, and by text message only if you agreed to texts or texted Ekin first. Your SMS consent record is kept as proof of that consent.
Never sold
Your information is never sold or rented, and it is not shared with other agents or lenders unless you ask Ekin to introduce you.
Who handles it for Ekin
Supabase (database and sign-in), Netlify (website hosting), Google (email, and Google sign-in if you use it), Apple (Apple sign-in if you use it), Telnyx (text messages) and OpenAI (the text of AI Search and Mila conversations). Each handles your information only to provide its service.
AI Search and Mila
Mila is an AI assistant, not Ekin. To answer you, the text of your AI Search conversation and your search filters are sent to OpenAI. When you ask Mila about a home, your question and that home’s listing details are sent to OpenAI too, and a question about places near the home is looked up on Google Maps with the home’s map location. Your name, email and phone number are never sent. Mila Match’s matching runs in your browser; only the questions you ask Mila about a home go to OpenAI, as described above.
Emails and texts
When you create an account, you agree to get new listings and market updates from Ekin by email. You can stop them at any time by replying to one of these emails or by emailing ekin@soldbyekin.com, and Ekin stops sending them. Marketing texts are a separate choice, never required to create an account. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts. Message and data rates may apply. Messages about your account, such as a password reset or a reminder of your email address, are sent when you ask for them.
Text messages (SMS)
SoldByEkin sends text messages only to people who agree to them by checking the SMS box on a form or in their account, or who text Ekin first. The messages can include property information, showing follow-ups, real estate updates and marketing. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Cookies and storage
The site uses your browser’s storage to keep you signed in and to remember your saved homes, language and choices. It does not use advertising cookies.
How long it is kept
Account information is kept until your account is deleted. Activity such as viewed homes is kept for 24 months. Emails and texts already sent to Ekin about your activity stay in Ekin’s mailbox and phone after your account is deleted.
Your choices
You can update your name and phone number in Account Settings. To stop marketing emails or texts, get a copy of your information, delete your account or ask a question about your information, email ekin@soldbyekin.com. Deleting your account removes your profile, saved homes and searches, Mila Match answers, conversations and activity.
Children
Accounts are for adults 18 and older. The site is not meant for children, and Ekin does not knowingly collect their information.
Security
Your information is sent over encrypted connections, and the database lets each account reach only its own information. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password that you don’t use anywhere else.
Listing information
Listing information comes from Stellar MLS through MLS GRID and is provided for consumers’ personal, non-commercial use. An account never unlocks extra listing information.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the date above changes too. If a change affects how your information is used, you’ll be asked to agree again the next time you sign in.
